For the ASB July ride organised by Phill Anderson and Andrew Chilton, it was decided that a trip towards the cooler west coast would be a good idea. 

On 11 July, the Rotary Club of Albufeira celebrated the 55th Anniversary of its foundation, bringing together Rotarians, representatives of Portuguese and international Rotary clubs, district leaders, local authorities, institutional partners and friends of Rotary in a ceremony marked by fellowship, tribute to the Club's history and a renewed commitment to the future.

The São Lourenço Singers just finished their spring season with two successful concerts in the Algarve. The May 1st soldarity concert was at the Quarteira church, “Igreja de Nossa Sra da Conceição” to raise funds for the Home of Quarteira.

Algarve 41 Club has announced the appointment of Kevin Ferriby as Chairman for the 2026–27 year, following the Club’s Annual General Meeting, which formed part of a successful three-day programme of fellowship, sport and celebration.

On Tuesday 23rd June, 22 bikes with 26 riders and pillions got together in São Bras, for a group ride through the Eastern Algarve.

Today, 16 June 2026, the Rotary Club of Albufeira celebrates its 55th anniversary, marking more than five decades of service, fellowship and commitment to the values of friendship, solidarity, integrity and peace.

Last week, on June 1st, the Rotary Club of Albufeira hosted the joint meeting of the Presidents and Assistant Governors, for the rotary years 2025/2026 and 2026/2027.

May 2026's ASB ride and lunch were arranged by Roy West. His aim was to visit the viewpoint at Foia, which is the highest point in the Algarve, but by a route we have never used before.
